The inaugural lecture which is an academic ritual and an important occasion in which a lecturer occupying a professorial chair in his area of specialization sums up his research findings over the years and presents to an intellectual/interested audience.

This inaugural lecture therefore, highlights the importance of agricultural credit for rural agricultural transformation and poverty reduction. Hence, agricultural credit brings to fulfillment the technology and techniques of agricultural cultivation, the quality of seeds planted, facilitates storage and marketing facilities.
